Ten Years Ago, We Were
Just Like You

Boris was in the automotive industry. Amanda was in corporate America. Both of us were stuck in the 9-to-5, trading time for a paycheck, dreaming of something different but not sure how to get there.

We had zero experience in the industry. No healthcare background. No roadmap. Just a decision to make.

THE SACRIFICE

We Moved Our Family Into a 300 Square Foot ADU

Most of our friends thought we were crazy. We were just two kids trying to build a life while tired of working a 9-to-5. So we made a decision that most people in our lives didn't understand. We moved out of our 2,000 square foot home into a 300 square foot ADU with our one-year-old son to start our business. Some people told us not to do it. Some thought we were out of our minds. And honestly? Life was wild.

But we kept going. We opened our first Residential Senior Care Facility in 2015. Two years later we purchased a second location and converted it. Then a third. And all because we wanted a business that would allow us the freedom to raise our kids without sacrificing our finances.

The Palomino Academy wasn't planned. It grew out of a community of people who kept asking the same question: how did you do it? Amanda and Boris realized that what took them years of trial and error could be handed to the right people in a fraction of the time. Not as a shortcut, but as a roadmap.

They've now helped 100+ students across California teaching them how to open and operate their own licensed facilities. Every success story is a reminder of why they started teaching in the first place.

THE BEGINNING

2 YEARS LATER

Purchased facility number 2. In LA County. Where housing prices leave most people on the sidelines.
